Darkness, shrouding itself across the
land. As Night falls upon the people
of the Valley, life in the Forest of
Death stirs, as though the beginning
of the Night calls to them,
Burning determination, driving out
the creatures of the light. Call upon the
creatures of the Darkness. Call to them,
bring the wrath of the dead and their Fury
upon the souls of the living. Heroes called upon,
flee in terror, not wishing to die. Instead,
they flee in cowardice. Showing no
signs of a true hero. They flee in
pure terror. When all hope seems lost,
a true hero emerges from afar, casting
light into the Darkness, scaring shadows into
hiding. Once the people of the Valley saw
this hero, new hope was born into their hearts
and their very souls. The hero fought bravely and
valiantly, but he failed to kill what he
sought out to destroy in the first place. The
hope of the people of the Valley was crushed,
spirits were once more, not joyous. After a few
hundred years of living in the Darkness, their hope had returned. For a new Hero came to be, raised in
the very same Valley tormented by darkness and
its evils. This Hero had true courage that no man had
ever had before, for this hero was no man. This
Hero was a young woman who fought for peace and
freedom. She fought bravely and heroically,
but still she could not defeat the Darkness. She
knew she couldn't fight alone... She set out to find
another hero to fight the enemy beside. She searched
throughout the lands; she traveled through dangerous
valleys, through fields of fire, through frozen forests.
She traveled around mountainous plumes of lava. She traveled through caves filled with poison. At last,
the young female hero walked wearily into a small village
in a quiet forest at the edge of the evils source.
The heroine came across a courageous young man who was skilled with any blade that falls into his own hands. He
was one of the twelve defenders of the forest. The
young man agreed and the two heroes set back to free
the Valley from the influence of the Dark Lord. They
gathered up people from the Valley and invaded the land of Darkness. Many lives were lost, but the reign of evil
was over and a new age of prosperity took over.
